Lake Houses presently manages two very different properties, both of which share the shoreline of Lake Norman, NC.

The Bridge View Cove house is nice for a family reunion at any time of year, as a spot for friends to get together, or for a romantic weekend getaway.  We'll even leave a bottle of wine.

Davidson Landing is closer to Charlotte, shopping, restaurants, etc., but is still the place to be for boating, fishing, or just sitting around the pool.

The owner/managers of Lake Houses are local, able to show the properties, and will address problems or concerns immediately.

Check out both sites, Bridge View Cove and Davidson Landing.  You won't be sorry, the pictures are great.  Then, call or e-mail Christina for reservations.

Lake Norman itself is the main attraction of course, beautifully situated in the southern foothills of NC's Piedmont region.  The largest manmade lake in the Carolinas has boating, fishing, swimming, waterskiing - it has it all!  Cruise, or drive over to Lake Norman State Park, and find picnic groves and hiking and biking trails.  If that's not enough, there are several championship golf courses around the lake, not to mention all the restaurants, and of course the shopping and entertainment, and the nearby historical sites.

For NASCAR fans, Mooresville, nicknamed "Race City," is minutes away,  so is Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Charlotte, "the Queen City," with all its nightlife, fine dining at restaurants and the premier cooking school - Johnson & Wales, museums, galleries and more is just an easy drive down Rt. 77.  According the the NC state tourism folks, Charlotte is the number one travel destination in the Carolinas.  That must be because it's so close to Lake Norman.
